| Michael has always been able to bring people and things together, even as boy. He could get whatever anyone wanted, from comic books to concert tickets. Today, Michael is a fixer. He can bring anyone or anything “within the law” together for a price. When he can help it, he will not go out on a job, he likes to set them up, gather information, and arrange transportation, but he will never put himself in danger. His worst fear is that of dying and leaving his daughter “Carolina” all alone in this extremely harsh world. In the fall of 91, his nice neat little world of arranging things turned to dust. His fifteen year-old daughters joined the Church of Sun Yen-Yen. Sun Yen-Yen is more of a cult than a church. Michael wasn’t about to let his little girl become one of those vacant-eye followers selling flowers on street corners to put money in Yen-Yen’s Swiss bank account. He tried to get her out himself, but all it did was to put him in the hospital. He called on the best, his old friend Charles Escott. If anyone was able to get his little girl out, it was Escott. Within a week, Carolina was back at home. All that Escott asked in payment was if in the future he had need of Michael’s skills, he would answer the call. The lead into the game.
