Morgan wanted to be a witch from the time she was a junior in high school.  From the day Johnny
had asked her to the dance, just like she had hoped.  But the evening wasn’t what she expected.  
Shortly after they had arrived, Judy winked just the right way and wriggled just enough to take
Johnny away.  When she saw them leaving the dance together, Morgan was devastated.  Furious she
ran home, torn between crying and raging.  For weeks, she dreamed of vengeance on both of them but
she had no idea how to achieve it.
     In a fit of anger, she threw a vase at the bookcase in her grandmother’s library, knocking several
books off the shelf, as she was picking them up she noticed one was a spell book, hand-written by her
grandmother.  Slipping it into her book-bag she took it home to study closely.
After carefully reading it, she decided to test one of the simple spells of vengeance.  To his delight, her
careful preparations resulted in Johnny dumping Judy for a guy name Tom.  Morgan was both excited
and a little bit scared by her manipulations.  
     After copying some of the spells, she tried to return the book quietly, but her grandmother caught
her.  After a furious lecture about the dangers, her grandmother finally agreed to teach her.  Morgan
is very intense when it comes to magic, but in her eagerness to learn, she forgets the dangers and takes
reckless chances.
