Peter is a well-known Chicago based science fiction writer, recognized for his Creatures of the Night
novels and a gross of short stories.  With a BA in English Literature from Brown University in Rhode
Island, Peter is a full-time writer who tinkers with old cars, drinks beer, and travels to Science Fiction
Conventions for fun, profit, and/or a free dinner.
At the World Science Fiction Convention, he saved a number of lives by crushing the skull of a
werewolf with his silver-plated Hugo Award (Best Short Story of 89).
To his amazement, Peter had discovered both that the supernatural was real, and that he had killed a
werewolf in front of a room full of people.  Since it was a sci-fi con, he was able to pass the episode off
as part of his act.  From that day on, Peter worked to play his part in the game of stalking the night
fantastic.

Peter, in today’s mail “August 1st” you find a small note and a first class ticket to San Francisco from
Charles Escott.  He invites you to talk about the world of the supernatural.
